About National Marrow Donor Program - NMDP

The National Marrow Donor Program works to ensure every patient has the best chance to receive the transplant they need.

The National Marrow Donor Program Registry includes:

• 7 million potential bone marrow donors
• 70,000 cord blood units donated by parents after their baby´s birth
• 4 million additional donors and cord blood units, thanks to our partnerships around the world

The National Marrow Donor Program works to increase the size and diversity of the Registry. Partnering with families, civic, community, corporate and religious organizations the Program raises awareness about the need for donors.
