The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation was founded in 1976. The foundation is dedicated to serving individuals with dystonia and their families.
Dystonia is a disorder which causes the muscles to contract and spasm involuntarily. Dystonia can be a disease in its own right (there are approximately 13 types of dystonia) and dystonia can be a symptom of other conditions.
The mission of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation is to
