A non for profit organization, the Children's Tumor Foundation seeks to improve the health and well being of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatoses (NF).
The work of the Children's Tumor Foundation includes:
- Supporting - individuals with neurofibromatoses, their families and carers
- Providing - accurate, up to date and accessible information
- Assisting - with the development of best practices, clinical centers and other areas of patient support (not including direct medical care) to create better access to quality healthcare
- Expanding - and raising public awareness of the neurofibromatoses
- Promoting - accurate and earlier diagnosis of neurofibromatoses by the medical community
