About The Scleroderma Foundation - SF
The Scleroderma Foundation was founded in 1981 by a merger between the East Coast based Scleroderma Federation and the West coast based United Scleroderma Foundation. The Scleroderma Foundation represent individuals with scleroderma and their friends and families in the United States.
A not for profit organization, the Scleroderma Foundation:
- Supports - patients and their friends and families live and cope with scleroderma through mutual support programs, physician referrals, peer counseling and educational information.
- Conducts Research - to find improvements in treatment and ultimately find the cause/s and a cure for scleroderma and related diseases
- Educates - the public by promoting awareness of scleroderma through, publicity campaigns, educational seminars and literature
