About Parkinson's Disease Society - PDS
Established in 1969, the Parkinson´s Disease Society funds research focused on transforming the lives of those affected by Parkinson´s Disease.
Since the charity was founded, more than £30 million has been invested in research. Advances in the search for the cause of Parkinson´s Disease have been achieved along with improved surgical and medical treatments, and improvements in therapies and equipment.
The Parkinson´s Disease Society campaigns and influences Government policy and the development of high quality services at both national and local level.
The Parkinson´s Disease Society is funded by charitable donations and they are reliant on legacies.
