About The National Aphasia Association - NAA
A non profit organization, the National Aphasia Association promotes public education, rehabilitation, research and support services to help individuals with aphasia and their families.
The aim of the National Aphasia Association is to make the public aware that aphasia is an impairment in ability to communicate and not an impairment of intellect.
The National Aphasia Association works towards a world in which aphasia is a commonly understood word. They envisage a world where there are resources available for educating and informing individuals with aphasia, as well as families, health clinicians and the public on how people with aphasia can improve their quality of life.
