About The International Diabetes Federation - IDF
With an international alliance of over 200 diabetes associations in more than 160 countries, the International Diabetes Federation works to enhance the lives of people with diabetes.
A non-governmental organization, The International Diabetes Federation (IDF)seeks to:
- promote - diabetes care and prevention
- encourage - activities to find a cure for the different types of diabetes
Work of the IDF includes:
- advocacy and lobbying work
- educating individuals with diabetes and their caregivers about diabetes
